Hello! I'm Laura, the artist, solo mum and creative entrepreneur behind The Ivy Studio! I’m based in Hertfordshire with my wonderful 6 year old daughter, Ivy.

I've been running my own creative businesses for over 6 years, which include fibre art supplies, woven wall art and greetings cards. These businesses were followed by the launch of The Ivy Studio Shades, which was born out of a desire to up-cycle a handful of old lampshades that I'd acquired and kept in my studio. Brightening up your home need not be an entire re-decoration at great expense. Adding fun little accessories, such as bold lampshades, can be just what pulls a room together!
